Tales from the Morgue

WRITING WORKSHOP -

PERFORMANCE -
Sunday 30 June 5pm

A creative writing workshop and an evening of theatre at the F Project. Create stories from those past, those present and those in-between. If you are interested in creative writing and performance or just want to write and/or perform something grounded firmly in a piece of local history, then this is the event for you. 

Part one:
We will meet at F Project for a workshop facilitated by local playwright and director, Megan Twycross to sit, write, research, discuss and 'feel' the building and grounds as an old funeral home (the F Project building was an old funeral parlour and has some interesting tales to tell!) Following the writing session participants will have the opportunity to submit a performance piece early the following week.

Part two: 

Performers in the group will then rehearse and perform (still with a script) a week later, on the following Sunday to an audience. The group will meet earlier in the afternoon to rehearse and prepare.

Theatre Performance is a gold coin donation at the door. Workshop free to WTC and F Project members. New members welcome. Refreshments at bar prices.
